“The therapeutic work I do with clients is strongly guided by the link between people’s minds, bodies, and higher connections. Our bodies are not separate from us. Our bodies and minds are one in the same, which means that with the right amount of intention, love, and awareness, they can begin to heal together”
My body has given me the ability to explore and experience so many incredible things in my life. It has allowed me to swim in the ocean, to feel the warmth of the sun, and it allows me to hold the people I love. I spent many years fighting with my body, only looking for things I thought were unacceptable. I lived in a contradictory mindset, believing that hating my body would give me the power or motivation to strive for "perfection". But at what cost? And what does perfection mean? I began to realize that I was uncomfortable being in a space where I was allowed to love and accept myself. From that realization, I began to question where that feeling came from, and I’ve been challenging myself to dismantle the negative beliefs about my body ever since.
I believe my purpose is to make life feel a bit softer for others. I hope to bring genuine compassion to every interaction I have, and leave people feeling cared for and less alone.
Sisterhood is very important to me because we all need to feel supported and understood. Finding a group of people who are unconditionally supportive is so empowering, and can promote so much healing and growth.
